Stevington Neighbourhood Plan

The Parish Council is in the final stages of preparing the Stevington Neighbourhood Plan which, when adopted, becomes a legal document within Planning legislation.

Consultation with residents and interested parties will take place between 23rd April and 10th July 2019. This is the Regulation 14, pre-submission consultation and publicity phase. Every house in the village will receive a leaflet with a summary of the plan and the mechanism for leaving comments. Complete paper copies of Stevington Neighbourhood Plan will be available in The Church Room, The Village Hall, The Baptist Hall, The Royal George and The Red Lion, as will collection boxes for paper comments.

If you are interested to know how this process works see

The Neighbourhood Plan is a real and positive opportunity for the community to shape the future development of Stevington, particularly the use and development of land and buildings.  Without a Neighbourhood Plan, we will have little influence over future development in Stevington.
